The first annual Life Science Industry Awards

On Monday, December 6th, The Scientist, in partnership with The Science Advisory Board, will host the Life Science Industry Awards evening cocktail reception at the Renaissance Washington Hotel in Washington, D.C., which will coincide with the American Society of Cell Biology Meeting. The reception will honor those innovative companies named best-in-class in twelve different product categories as well as those suppliers with the best overall service and marketing in six different categories.

The Master of Ceremonies for the event will be noted science communicator, Ira Flatow, host and Executive Producer of National Public Radio's Science Friday, and author of "They All Laughed...From Light Bulbs to Lasers: The Fascinating Stories Behind the Great Inventions That Have Changed Our Lives."
