Winners of the Life Science Industry Awards
Posted 12/7/2004

The Science Advisory Board, in conjunction with The Scientist and BioInformatics, is pleased to announce this year's winners of the Life Science Industry Awards.

The Life Science Industry Awards recognizes life science suppliers named best-in-class in twelve different product categories as well as suppliers with the best overall service and marketing in six different categories, all from the perspective of life scientists.

The winners and finalists were honored at an evening cocktail reception on Monday, December 6th at the Renaissance Washington Hotel in Washington, D.C. The Master of Ceremonies for the event was noted science communicator, Ira Flatow, host and Executive Producer of National Public Radio's Science Friday, and author of "They All Laughed...From Light Bulbs to Lasers: The Fascinating Stories Behind the Great Inventions That Have Changed Our Lives."

In all, over 3,000 scientists completed a 31-question survey to determine the winners.  Read more about this prestigious event in the December 6 issue of The Scientist.
