What's new? Latest SAB News
Posted 6/30/2006

There have been some recent addition to The Science Advisory Board website. We'd like to bring them to your attention so you won't miss out!

The SAB June Newsletter was sent out earlier this week.  If you missed it and would like to view a web-based version, please click here.

In addition to the results of May's "Question of the Month" was information about our June CONTEST in which we are inviting SAB members and their colleagues to send us information about their research, techniques they employ, interesting findings, and if a photo is included with their submission, a chance to win $50 USD to use at their discretion.  We intend to collect all responses and feature SAB member labs periodically on the website.

If you haven't contributed yet and would like to (and be entered in the contest), please write us at: questions@scienceboard.net.

We've also added two new Member Perspectives:

"Microtubule-targeted drugs for cancer treatment", by Manu Lopus

and

"Molecular Weight Markers: Perspective and Analysis", by Dr. Ghanshyam D. Heda, Ph.D.

Also, don't miss our latest Member Spotlight featuring Dr. Dana Perkins who, in addition to her fascinating work developing countermeasures for infectious disease and bioterror, also writes microbiology-themed crossword puzzles; Dr. Perkins has made them available for use by The Science Advisory Board and they can be found in pdf format by clicking here.

We hope you enjoy the latest offerings. For our American members, have a happy and safe Fourth of July, and best wishes to all our members.
