May & June Call for Content
Posted 5/23/2008

During the months of May and June The SAB will offer an additional incentive for those willing to submit two pieces of content; either a Member Spotlight & Perspective article or two Perspective articles. A Member Spotlight is an interview that gives The SAB a chance to showcase its global members and their field of work. (Please note that if you've previously participated in a Member Spotlight, you're not eligible to do so again unless your place of employment has changed since your last Spotlight). Perspectives are opinionated articles written by one or more SAB members that present their views, a fresh take on a life science topic of their choice. Normally, an SAB member would receive 250 ViewPoints per Member Spotlight or Perspective article. Now we're offering a new incentive: If you submit both a Member Spotlight and a Perspective (or submit two Perspectives for those of you who have previously participated in a Member Spotlight), you will receive one $50 Amazon Gift Certificate instead of ViewPoints. All relevant article & interview information is due by June 13, 2008. To receive the $50 Amazon Gift Certificate, the deadline and all specifications/requirements must be met. We know that the Amazon Gift Certificate option from the previous Rewards Catalog is well-missed, and we hope to see many of you take advantage of this opportunity. Email k.henwood@scienceboard.net for guidelines and a tailored set of interview questions for Member Spotlights. Editorial guidelines for the Perspective articles can be found here.
