We Value Your Viewpoint with ViewPoints: An Enhanced Loyalty Program for Members
Posted 7/12/2002

The Science Advisory Board proudly introduces ViewPoints, an expanded point system that offers members the opportunity to earn compensation every time they express their opinions through Board-sponsored activities!

By participating in online studies and contributing original content to the website through such features as the Discussion Forum, Perspectives, Book Reviews and Job Postings, members can earn points towards over 400 items from a newly redesigned gift catalog. Previously referred to as Reward Points, ViewPoints was coined to acknowledge the valuable viewpoints members share every day with their colleagues on The Science Advisory Board.

All Reward Points that members have accumulated in their accounts will be automatically transferred into ViewPoints.  One of the major advantages of ViewPoints is that ordering will be easier and quicker than the old system.  Furthermore, once an order is placed through the ViewPoints program, members will also receive their gift faster.

“The Science Advisory Board is pleased to offer our members these enhanced benefits.  Our ViewPoints gift catalog also has double the number of items previously available through the old system,” states Dr. Tamara Zemlo, Director of Scientific & Medical Communications at The Science Advisory Board, “We’ve kept the extremely popular items and included additional items in this new catalog that our members have specifically requested.”

Given all the demands of a typical workday, we know that there is a limited amount of free time scientific and medical professionals have available to participate in extra activities.  By taking time to share their opinions about the tools and techniques of their profession, members of The Science Advisory Board are helping shape the future of science and medicine.

Through participating in this dynamic community, our members are expanding the bounds of biomedical knowledge through online communication.  While we know that these contributions are inherently very satisfying, The Board also extends its appreciation through offering the ViewPoints program to our members.
