PerkinElmer debuts ChemOffice+ Cloud

November 10, 2020 -- PerkinElmer has introduced ChemOffice+ Cloud, a new application for its ChemDraw chemistry drawing software portfolio.

With ChemOffice+ Cloud, chemists can utilize new cross-document searching functionality to access and report on chemical structure data, according to the company. Users can organize data into collections for reference and communications around reporting, presenting, and publishing, as well as patent submissions, PerkinElmer said.

What's more, ChemOffice+ Cloud can tap into chemical drawings that exist in disparate Microsoft Office documents on various systems and online -- without opening individual files, according to PerkinElmer. As a result, chemists can then organize multiple molecules, reactions, and drawings in a collection and create lists of chemical objects to be used in future reporting and studies, the company said.

Via Google Patents, ChemOffice+ Cloud also enables integrated access to indexed and searchable chemical structures.
