Scitara signs deal with PerkinElmer on IT platform

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

April 25, 2022 -- Scitara is partnering with PerkinElmer on a new scientific integration platform that will grant scientists access to cross-functional data.

The Scitara Scientific Integration Platform will support PerkinElmer's Signals Research Suite informatics platform, which provides end-to-end scientific data and workflow management, with laboratory instruments, applications, and resources. Scitara's technology uses cloud-native infrastructure and will result in a fully connected laboratory with standard data integrity, data mobility, system flexibility, and user reconfigurability, the firm said.

Scientists will be able to extract the maximum value from legacy equipment and introduce new technology into the lab that will improve productivity, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and automation tools, Scitara added.
